Obituary of Jerene H. Glidden

Jerene H. Glidden, age 81, of King of Prussia, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025 in her home.

She was born in New Britain, CT on February 23, 1943, the daughter of the late Harold Hazen Hauver and the late Evelyn  B. (Chase) Hauver.

Jerene has been living in King of Prussia for 50 years.  She attended Hope Community Church.  She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed decorating her home.  She enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with her husband Dwaine and together they visited every state in the U.S. with the exception of Alaska.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.    

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dwaine E. Glidden of King of Prussia, PA; three daughters, Leila (Thomas) Mellon of Royersford, PA, Sally (Martin) McGill of Virginia City, MT, and Susan (Brian) Aird of Spring City, PA; two sons, Spencer Glidden (Katherine Wallace) of Cave Creek, AZ and Matthew Glidden of King of Prussia, PA; and sister, Elnora D'Angelo of Southington, CT.   

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Noah, Elizabeth, Jesse, Kimberly, Amanda, Brean, Travis, McKenna, Nicholas, Timothy and Chase; three great grandchildren, Brooke, Aenea and Eric; and five step great grandchildren, Bennett, Harper, Olivia, David and Steven.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Donahue.  

Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning, January 17 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be private at a later date.
