Obituary of Gerardina (Barbone) Boccella

Gerardina (Barbone) Boccella, 92, of West Conshohocken, Pa passed away on Monday October 31, 2016. She was born in Pompeii, Italy on February 11, 1924. Gerardina has lived in West Conshohocken, Pa since 2008, formerly of Conshohocken, Bridgeport and she was born and raised in Italy. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church. She worked as a seamstress and was well known for knitting blankets. Daughter of the Late Joseph & Maria ( Perillo ) Barbone. Beloved wife of the late Emilio Boccella. Survivors include her Son: Felice Boccella Blue Bell Pa Son: Orlando Boccella Collegeville Pa Son: Giovanni J. Boccella West Conshohocken Pa Daughter: Lucia Boccella CA Daughter: Sandra Boccella Conshohocken Pa Also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Fr. J. Thomas Heron will be officiating. Friends may call on Saturday Morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in St. Augustine Mausoleum, King Of Prussia, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Orphanage at Our Lady of Pompeii Shrine, Piazza Bartolo Longo, 1 80045 Pompeii NA, Italy.
