Obituary of Margaret Pettia

Margaret E. (Heller) Pettia, "Peggy", age 62, of Limerick, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017. She was born in Norristown, PA on November 7, 1954, the daughter of Moira (Thompson) and the late James C. Heller. Peggy has been living in Limerick for 6 months, formerly of Stowe where she lived for 30 years. She was a member of both Saint Gabriel's Church and Saint Gabriel's Lodge of Stowe. Prior to her retirement, Peggy worked for many years as a Customer Service Representative for Iron Mountain. Peggy was the beloved wife of the late James D. Pettia. Along with her mother, Peggy is survived by her son, James D. ( & Jennifer) Pettia, Jr. of Devon; Daughter, Kathleen ( & Michael) Vaccaro of Collegeville; Sister, Kathleen (Heller) Roth of Limerick; Brother, James C. ( & Susan) Heller, Jr. of Woodstown, NJ; Brother, Samuel C. ( & Corinne) Heller, III of Phoenixville; Sister, Shirley Ann ( & Jeff) Grumbine of Terre Hill, PA; Sister, Janet ( & Steve) Light of Gilbertsville; Father In Law, James N. Pettia; Brother In Law, Stephen ( & Susan) Pettia; Sister In Law, Deborah ( & John) Dunn; As well as three grandchildren, Jackson & Charlotte Pettia and Alanna Vaccaro. Along with her husband and father, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Alexander Heller. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Friday, September 8, 2017, at 11AM at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.
