Earl Lewis "Lew" Beaver, 93, of King of Prussia, PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday January 27, 2018 with his loving wife and family by his side.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 28, 1924. Lew grew up in Yeadon, PA, lived most of his adult life in King of Prussia, PA, and had retired to Ocean View, DE for 20+ years before returning to King of Prussia.

During World War II, Lew served more than three years in the US Navy, stationed in South America.
Lew was a self-employed carpenter for over 35 years, remodeling homes throughout King of Prussia and the Main Line.
Lew was selflessly devoted to his wife of 70 years, Flora, his children and their spouses, his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Since childhood, Lew excelled at sports and was the star pitcher for Yeadon High in his senior year. In retirement, Lew moved with Flora to the vacation home he built with his sons in the 70s on a lagoon in Ocean View. He was sweet, kind, giving, strong, full of common sense, and always happy. He volunteered his time, delivering groceries to home-bound seniors, and to carpentry projects for family, friends and his church. Lew loved being with family and friends, fishing on the Indian River Bay, trips to the beach, lemon merengue and shoo fly pie, vegetable gardening, sangria and fuzzy navels, watching sports and checking scores on his iphone, afternoon naps, creamed chipped beef, scrapple, and bowling-- earning a Gold Medal in the Delaware Senior Olympics at age 81.
