Monday, April 16, 2018Connie, Linda and Bob's family and friends: I am deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We have seen each other quite a bit over the last year in various capacities. I know that it was a sudden event, but Bob seemed to be in pretty good health and enjoying his time at Brightview. We spent a number of hours discussing various aspects of sports in the last year or so. I am sure he is meeting up with some old friends like Reds McCarthy and exchanging baseball stories.. My deepest sympathies to all of the family. Rick

Monday, April 16, 2018I got to know Bob through his daughter Connie 20+ years ago. Bob was a wonderful man who loved to laugh and share stories, and was very welcoming to his family and friends. He was kind enough to send me an autographed copy of his book on baseball rookies several years ago, and it is a cherished memento of his humor, sports knowledge and writing skills. Bob was a devoted father, grandfather and husband and will be sorely missed by all who got to know him. My deepest condolences to Connie, Linda and the Bloss and Manno families.
