Obituary of Mary Agnes Tammany

Mary Agnes ( McDermott) Tammany , 89, formerly of West Conshohocken, PA passed away on

Wednesday July 18, 2018. She was born in Roxborough, section of Philadelphia, PA on August 19, 1928.

Mary Agnes has been living in Lafayette Hill, PA for the last 2 years, formerly of West Conshohocken, PA and Norristown, PA where she was raised.

She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, PA and a former member of St. Gertrude's RC Church of West Conshohocken, PA, where she was Past President of the Women's Club and a former Parish Council member.

She graduated from St. Patrick High School.

Mary Agnes was a homemaker and also had worked with Quaker Chemical Corporation.

Along with St. Gertrude's Church she was very active with West Conshohocken Home Towners Association.

Daughter of the late John & Agnes ( Frazen ) McDermott.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Tammany.

Survivors include her

Son: Tom (& Nora) Tammany Media PA

Son: John (& Mary Beth) Tammany Plymouth Meeting PA

Daughter: Kathleen (& Gil) Dobbins Eagleville PA

Daughter: Karen (& Tony) Giannone Conshohocken PA

Brother: John McDermott NJ

Also survived by 13 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Claire Kilpatrick.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
