Marguerite C. Bowers, 82, of Norristown, PA passed away on July 22, 2018.

She was born in Norristown on May 5, 1936, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Susine (Carcarey) Pettine.

Marguerite was a life-long resident of Norristown and member of Saint Patrick's RC Church. She had a long career at the Board of Assessments at the Montgomery County Courthouse. Marguerite was very family-oriented.

Marguerite was the beloved wife of the late Paul R. Bowers.

Survivors include her sister, Dolores Bierwirth;

three brothers, Charles Pettine, Leonard Pettine and Robert Pettine;

three nieces, eight nephews;

as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Pettine.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick's RC Church, 714 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA 19401.

Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
