William Young, 73, of Worcester, Pa., formerly of Norristown, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pa.,  He was born in Norristown, Pa., on May 11, 1939, the son of the late William and Cecelia L. ( Kelly ) Young. He was a member of Visitation BVM R.C. Church of Trooper, and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church when he lived in Norristown. He served in the U.S. Army, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, and he worked with Merck, Sharp & Dohme for over 20 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to the casinos. He is survived by a brother, Matthew Young of East Norriton, Pa.; and many cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Rosemarie Kelly Booth, Harriet Kelly Marshall, Mary Kelly and Bernadette Kelly Youngblud.  His funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. from the Visitation B.V.M. RC Church. 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown, Pa. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 10:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, Pa.
