Robert F. Webster Obituary
Robert F. Webster of West Norriton, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown. He was 91.
He was a retired meteorologist with the Federal Government.
Born in Conshohocken on Feb. 4, 1921, he was a son of the late Isaac and Flora (Staley) Webster.
He has lived in West Norriton for the past three and a half years and previously resided in Ridley Township, Pa.
He was WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific Theater of Combat Operations.
He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was the husband of the Late Alice (Downing) Webster.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin (and Louis) DeAngelis of Norristown and Chris (and Bernie) David of New Castle, Del.; four grandchildren: Tracy, Brian, Michael and Stephen and spouse's; seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Robert on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11 A.M.. at the Moore & Snear Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton. The Rev. Richard A. Olson II will be officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10 to 10:50 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Robert's name be made to: Montgomery Hospice, 25 West Fornance Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
