Christian Speaker Jr. of Graterford, PA. passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital in East Norriton Twp. with his family at his side. He was 76. He was a retired Draftsman with Allen, Sherman & Hoff (A-S-H), retiring in 2009 after 34 years of employment. Born in Norristown, on August 25, 1936, he was a son of the late Christian & Edna (Friend) Speaker Sr. Christian was the loving husband of 35 years of Blanche (Lowther) Speaker. He has been residing in Graterford for the past 34 years and previously resided in Norristown. He was a member of the Norristown Masonic Lodge 620 F. & A.M. He enjoyed dancing, gardening & camping.. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Christian Speaker III of Florida and Scott Edward (Mindy) Speaker of Phoenixville; daughter, Cindy Speaker; sister, Nancy (Lawrence) Folkes of Lansdale; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service for Christian on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, Pa. 19426. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 - 11:00A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
