Joan M. (Becker) Royce of Frederic Living, formerly of Collegeville, died on August 17, 2013. Mrs. Royce was born on November 19, 1934 in Pottstown, a daughter of the late Frank and Doris (Custer) Becker, Jr. She was 78 years of age. Mrs. Royce worked at her parents' restaurant, the former Lakeside Inn.. She later sold real estate and helped her husband in his business, Royce Construction. Mrs. Royce used to love spending time with her late husband, William, at their condo in Florida, watching the dolphins on Lemon Bay. She was a long time member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church in Collegeville. Mrs. Royce is survived by her children; Rick Royce of Pottstown, Michael Royce (Sue) of Gilbertsville, William L. Royce, Jr. (Carol) of Limerick, Linda M. Edleman of Lebanon and Kimberly Bill (Dennis) of Douglassville. Also Surviving are 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Frank Becker III (Heather) of Kimberton and her sister, Patricia Miller (William) of Limerick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 22, 10:30 A.M. at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M.. Officiating will be Monsignor Patrick Sweeney, pastor. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
