Obituary of Francis A. Burns

Francis A. Burns of Bechtelsville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pa., age 72. He was a retired computer programmer of 37 years with Unisys Corporation of Blue Bell, Pa. Born in Norristown, Pa. on November 10, 1940, he was a son of the late John & Helen (Hylinski) Burns. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Purvis) Burns. Francis has been residing in Bechtelsville for the past seven years and previously resided in Collegeville and originally from Conshohocken, Pa. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Conshohocken, Pa. and he was a graduate of the former St. Matthews High School of Conshohocken. Francis was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Besides his wife, Francis, is survived by: daughter, Patricia (William) Swanson; son, Christopher F. Burns; stepson, William J. O'Mahoney; grandchildren, Jacob & Jayson Swanson, Marena & Olivia Burns, Randy O'Mahoney; brothers, Ronald & John Burns. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass for Francis on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's RC Church, Elm & Maple Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Msgr. Gerald Mesure will be officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be private
