Dorothy T. (Worrell) Moore of Eagleville, Pa., passed away Friday, October 25, 2013, at Einstein Memorial Hospital, East Norriton, with her daughters at her side. She was 88. Dorothy was a homemaker, the wife of the late Matthew J. Moore. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on May 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Charles S. and Jane (Bemisderfer) Worrell. She resided in Eagleville for the past 14 years and previously resided in East Norriton and Lafayette Hill, Pa. She was a charter member of the Avalon Yacht Club of Avalon, N.J., and a member of the Williamstadt Questers of Norristown. Dorothy enjoyed spending time in Avalon and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Dorothy M. Moore of Wilmington, Del., and Maureen J. Moore of Eagleville; a son, Matthew J. Moore; and grandchildren Jonathan and Emily. Relatives and friend are invited to attend a funeral service for Dorothy on Wednesday, October 30, 2013at 11:00 A.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 P.M. and Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
