Obituary of Joyce Kay

Joyce Kay passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Regina Nursing Center in Norristown, Pa. She was 72. Born in Bryn Mawr, Pa. on September 27, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Dr. R. James Kay, formerly of Wayne, Pa. and the late Eva W. Thomas, formerly of King of Prussia, Pa. Formerly of Norristown, Pa., Joyce had been residing in West Chester, Pa. before moving to Regina Nursing Center. She was a graduate of Northfield Academy and attended Gettysburg College. She was an active member of her church, and enjoyed trips to Ocean City, New Jersey. She is survived by two daughters, Jill (Brian) Fay of West Chester, Pa. and Pamela Masterson of Swedesboro, N.J.; grandchildren Evan and Shawn Fay; and long time companion, James Detterline of Norristown, Pa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Joyce on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA (610) 277-1600. Friends may call on Monday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
