Obituary of Suzanne M. Hoy

Suzanne M. (Day) Hoy, 45, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on January 1, 2014 after courageously battling a long illness. She was the wife of Michael J. Hoy and mother of Lauryn E. Hoy and Laiken O. Hoy. Mrs. Hoy lived in Collegeville and was proud to be a very active volunteer at Arrowhead Elementary School in Collegeville. She was an administrative assistant at McGladrey accounting firm in Blue Bell for seventeen years.  Born in Reading on September 11, 1968, she is the daughter of Timothy A. Day of Fleetwood Pa. and Jo A. (Elser) Day of Mechanicsburg Pa. Also surviving are her step-mother, Donna E. Day of Fleetwood; sisters Erica A. McNertney (Brian) of Dallas Texas, Avery M. Day of Monroe N.C. and Maegan E. Day of Fleetwood Pa.; grandfather Paul A. Day of Shillington Pa.; and nephew Brody T. McNertney of Dallas Texas, along with numerous aunts and uncles. Mrs. Hoy was preceded in death by grandparents Mildred Day, and Mary and Robert Elser.  Suzanne was the best wife, friend, sister, daughter, and mom and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and a time of sharing on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W.
