Obituary of Lois H. Clarke

Lois H. (Egan) Clarke of Worcester peacefully went home to the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Clarke had courageously fought a long and difficult battle with her illness. Mrs. Clarke was born on June 28, 1931 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Rathgerber) Egan. She grew up in Upper Darby and Drexel Hill and graduated from Upper Darby High School. For many years she was the secretary at her husband's chiropractic practice. In addition, she was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Audubon. Mrs. Clarke is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dr. James M. Clarke, Sr. Also surviving is her son, Dr. James M. Clarke, Jr. and his wife, Dr. Ritamarie Mancini Clarke. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Startzel .Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
