Obituary of Carole C. Morley

NAME OF DECEASED: Carole C. (Calvert) Morley A lifelong Norristown area resident, passed away peacefully at her home in West Norriton on Sunday January 26, 2014. She was 81 OTHER INFORMATION: Born in Montgomery County, PA on December 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William W. & Eleanor (Murdock) Calvert. She was the wife of the late William R. Morley and the former wife of the late David D. Johnson, who passed away in1978. Carole was a retired Art teacher with the Norristown Area School District. She volunteered as a Red Cross Grey Lady at the former Montgomery Hospital and she was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She was a former Republican Committee women and she was, also, a member of the Norristown Garden Club. Carole enjoyed animals of all kinds and she adopted a couple of rescue dogs. She enjoyed providing art lessons to children. She also enjoyed reading and being at the beach and being out in the sun. She loved music and dance and she enjoyed shopping, especially at her favorite store, Macy's. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
