Isabelle was born and raised in the Coal Region of Pennsylvania, she moved to Seattle to work with Boeing during World War II, then to Philadelphia, Pa were she worked as a hair dresser at John Wanamakers until her husband died, then she moved to Chicago to help her mother befor moving back to Philadelphia She was a member of St. Patrick's RC Church of Philadelphia, Pa She was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and attended Hahnemann Nursing School Isabelle was a talented painter
