He was born in Mazzano Appio Provincia Di Caserta, Italy. He was a resident of Conshohocken. He spent much of his time in Ocean City, NJ. He has owned and operated a pizziera down the Jersey shore for over 30 years. He currently owned and operated DeFusco's All Natural & Award Winning Pizza in Ocean City, NJ for the last several years. He was famous for his pizza reciepies and is well known for his awards and accolades for his pizza. He was a member of SS. Cosmas & Damian Catholic Church in Conshohocken. He was a 1966 graduate of the former St. Matthew's High School of Conshohocken, which was the last graduating class of St. Matthew's High School. He was a 1968 graduate of Montgomery County Community College of Conshohocken.
