Mary A. Hayes died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Normandy Farm Estate in Blue Bell, and formerly resided in Norristown.

Mary enjoyed a long and fulfilling career at McCarter Corporation in Norristown as Office Manager and Assistant Treasurer, until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Titus Parish as well as Epiphany of Our Lord. As a devoted volunteer, she was a member of Ladies of Charity and served on the Board of The Alliance of Catholic Women of the Philadelphia Archdiocese. Ms. Hayes was also a volunteer at Red Cross and the former Sacred Heart Hospital.

Born in Norristown on August 30, 1918, daughter of the late Francis A. Hayes and Mary ( Sullivan ) Hayes.

She is survived by two nieces, Gretchen Teran of New York, N.Y. and Kathleen Maier of Charlottesville, VA., and three grand-nephews, Henry and Emmet Teran and Ian Maier Bloom.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine I. Hayes and Loretta Hayes Maier.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10:30 AM from Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Church

Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton.
