Obituary of Ann Deborah Smull

Ann Deborah Smull (nee Hendricks), 63, of Norristown, passed away July 29, 2014 of cancer. Daughter of the late Alden P. and Sara Jane Hendricks, she grew up in Worcester, graduated from Methacton High School class of 1968, and completed a degree in Accounting Management from Lansdale School of Business in 1988. Debbie was widowed in 1987, after many years of caring for her first husband through a long illness. She then became the devoted companion of twelve years to the late Juan Kamuca, with whom she shared a love for jazz music. Debbie created meticulous order in her home and enjoyed gardening, kittens and bargain shopping. She had a wry sense of humor, and compassion for people fallen on hard times. She is sadly missed by her sisters, Adrienne Eiss, Luanne Hendricks, and Sara Hendricks, and her brother, Frederick Hendricks. Donations in memory of Debbie may be made to: the Jazz Bridge Project, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that helps area professional jazz and blues musicians in need (www.jazzbridge.org or call 215-517-8337).
