Nicholas E. Gargarella Obituary
Nicholas E. Gargarella, 88, of Blue Bell, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital in East Norriton, Pa.
Nick was born in Bristol, Pa., on July 5 1926, to the late Nicola and Vincenzia Gargarella.
Nick lived in Blue Bell for the last 67 years and worked in interior design window treatments.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he received the Army Occupation Medal, Eureopean - African - Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
He was the retired owner and operator of Nicholas Gargarella Window Treatments.
Nick is survived by his wife, Muriel E. (Welsh) Gargarella; two daughters, Marianne Hunter of Spring City, Pa., and Lisa Gargarella of Philadelphia, Pa.; sister, Rita Pett of Levittown, Pa.; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
His Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton Pa.
Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 1:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Pa.
