Charles V. Ameye, 71, of King of Prussia, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 6, 1943, Charlie had been living in King of Prussia, PA for over 40 years, formerly of Manayunk section of Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of Mother of Divine Providence RC Church of King of Prussia, PA. He was a retired Account Manager with Marriott. Charlie was an active member of Conshohocken AMBUCS. He enjoyed playing Bocce in Bridgeport, going to Wildwood for Irish Weekend, and most enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his Wife: Patricia Ameye of King of Prussia, PA, Daughter: Michelle (& Ryan) Kubasiak of Ballston Lake, NY, Son: Victor (& Nicole) Ameye of Downingtown, PA, Brothers: Victor Ameye of Washington Crossing, PA, Bob Ameye of North Wildwood, NJ, Richie Ameye of Philadelphia, PA, Sister: Marie Wysocki of Philadelphia, PA, and Brother: Frank Ameye of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren . He was predeceased by his parents, Victor C. Ameye and Margaret (Saylor) Ameye. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia. Clergy: Fr. Martin T. Cioppi officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Church. Interment will be private.
