Evelyn Tyson-Burzacki Obituary
Evelyn Tyson-Burzacki, of East Norriton, Pa., passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Suburban Woods Nursing Center in East Norriton Twp., Pa. She was 94.
She was a retired, well-known waitress with the Yorktown Inn and the former Jefferson House.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on January 1, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gina (Paolone) Barbine.
Evelyn was the wife of the late Edward S. Burzacki and her first husband, the late Oscar Tyson.
She had been residing in East Norriton Twp. for the past 20 years and previously resided in Orland, Pa. She was raised in Bridgeport, Pa.
She was a member of St. Titus Roman Catholic Church of East Norriton, Pa.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Margaret) Tyson and Richard (Sue Yeager) Tyson; her daughters, Mary Ellen (Troy) Phifer, Joan (Kenny) Brown and Elizabeth (Joseph) Merlino; two stepsons, Stanley (Julianna) Burzacki and Robert (Anita) Tyson; two stepdaughters, Maria (Jeff) Bunch and Carol (Nick) Manchor; and a brother, Amedeo (Mid) Barbine. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepsons John and Andrew Tyson, and her brother, Pasquale Barbine.
A funeral Mass for Evelyn will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 11:00 AM from the St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, E. Norriton, Pa 19401. The Rev. Leonard Lewandowski will be officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30- 11:00 AM at the church.
Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, Pa.
