Obituary of Edward C. Levandoski, Sr.

Edward C. Levandoski, Sr., 88, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital of East Norriton. Born in Duryea PA on May 21, 1926, Edward had been living in Plymouth Meeting, PA since 1961, formerly of Duryea, PA. He was one of the founding families with St. Paul's RC Church, where he also served as an usher. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he received the Army Occupational Medal. He was a member of the American Legion of Jeffersonville, PA, Knights of Columbus # 3327 of Bridgeport, PA. He volunteered with Boys Scouts in various capacities, and he was a Distinguished Member of National Association of Active & Retired Federal Employees - Norristown Chapter # 372. He also was the Chairman of the Norristown Bell Credit Union and a retired Supervisor with US Postal Service in Norristown, PA. Survivors include his Wife: Leona A. Levandoski (Cwikla), Son: Edward (& Lois) Levandoski of West Norriton, PA, Daughter: Mary Lee (& Michael) McNaul of Sanatoga, PA Son: Marty (& Marina) Levandoski of Marietta, GA, and Brother: Henry Levandoski of Duryea, PA. Also survived by his Grandchildren Adam (& Julia) Levandoski, Shannon Mc Naul, Annalise Levandoski, Patrick Levandoski, and Alex Levandoski, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by is parents, Edward C. Levandoski and Helen (Grzegorzewski). His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the St. Paul RC Church, 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown. Clergy: Fr. Harry E. McCreedy officiating. Friends may call on Friday Morning from 9:00 to 10:15 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike East Norriton PA. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
