Thomas C. Glenwright, Jr. of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Park House Nursing Center in Royersford, Pa. with his family by his side. He was 77. He was a Driver Overhed Transmission of PECO. Upon his retirement from PECO, he worked as a driver with John F. Kennedy Ford. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Thomas C. and Mae (Eldred) Glenwright, Sr. Thomas has lived in Plymouth Meeting since 1964, previously of Lafayette Hill. He was a volunteer fireman since he was 16 years old. He was a life member of the Harmonville Fire Company and Fire Police Captain for many years and served on various committees. In 1987 he received the Annual Award from Harmonville Fire Company. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Firemans Association and he was a life member and past chaplain and Deputy & Assistant Fire Police Commissioner with the Montgomery County Fire Police Association. He was a delegate to the Firemans Legislative Federation of PA and a delegate to the PA State Fire Police Association. He was the 1974 Fire Policeman of the Year with the Montgomery County Fire Police Association. He received a Citation from the PA House of Representatives for his service and also from Montgomery County Commissioners & Gov. Tom Ridge and Plymouth Township Council for all his dedicated service. He was a member and Noble Grand of Independent Order of Odd Fellows Norris – Lodge #57 and Norristown Encampment #37. He was a US Army veteran. Devoted husband of Elaine (Psichos) Glenwright, to whom he was married to for 51 years; Beloved father of Roxanne (William) Tims, Col. Adrienne (Shawn) Pederson; Brother of Marianne Prusinowski; 5 Grandchildren: Justin, Kyla, William, Logan & Audrey Grace; One Niece: Regina Hockenbrock; One Nephew: Robert Prusinowski.
