Obituary of Mary Jane Keys

Mary Jane "Janie" (Thompson) Keys, of Plymouth Meeting, Pa., passed away on Saturday July 25, 2015 at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center in East Norriton, Pa. She was 84. A daughter of the late William E. & Elizabeth (Stratton) Thompson, she was born in West Chester, Pa., on October 1, 1930. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Keys. Born and raised in West Chester, Pa., Mary Jane had resided in Plymouth Meeting since 1963, and she previously lived in Philadelphia. She was employed with Sparkles Dry Cleaning of Whitpain Twp. and, also, with the former Peoples Dry Cleaning of Norristown, Pa., retiring in 1993. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Agnes High School of West Chester. Janie loved to read and read and write poetry. She was, also, an avid Phillies fan, and enjoyed spending time at the Jersey Shore. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Douglas E. (Maryann) Thompson, Glenn (Joyce) Thompson, and Robert (Chris) Keys; daughter, Diane (Albert) Cinnelli; son-in-law, Victor Buono; grandchildren, Craig, Kelly, Glenn, Jill, Debbie, Kimmie, Robert, Michael and Ryan; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Adele Buono, and her sister, Sally Thorton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Mary Jane on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, Pa. 19401. Friends may call on Thursday Morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia, Pa. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
