He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, where he was an usher for many years. Former Athletic Director for Conshohocken Golden Bears Midget Football. And former Assistant Coach with Charlie Heavey with St. Matthew's High School of Conshohocken, Pa Life Member of the Mt. Carmel Sports Club, where he was Past President He enjoyed Gardening

Obituary of Harvey C. Borzelleca

Harvey C. Borzelleca, age 91 of Conshohocken, died Monday, December 17, 2012 in Einstein Montgomery Medical Center of East Norriton. Husband of Lillian M. (McCoach) Borzelleca. Born in Norristown, PA on July 27, 1921, he was a son of the late Theresa (Nave) and Basile Corzelleca. Harvey has lived in Conshohocken for over 50 years, formerly of Norristown, where he was born & raised. He was a graduate of Norristown High School where he was referred to as the Triple Threat because he stared in Football, Baseball and Track. He also received the Maxwell Football Award and played Semi-Pro Football for Pottstown. He served as a Gunner's Mate in World War II with the US Coast Guard He was a member of the Tile Setters Union No. 6. He was the retired Owner & Operator of Conshohocken Tile Co. He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, where he was an usher for many years. Former Athletic Director for Conshohocken Golden Bears Midget Football, and former Assistant Coach with Charlie Heavey with St. Matthew's High School of Conshohocken. Life Member of the Mt. Carmel Sports Club, where he was Past President. He enjoyed gardening. In addition to his wife, Harvey is survived by sons, David Borzelleca of West Chester, and Michael (Joyce) Borzelleca of Conshohocken; daughters, Judy (Jim) Kelly of Phoenixville, and Gale Rowe of Conshohocken; brother, Robert Borzelleca of Norristown; sister, Norma Mills of Alabama. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Raymond and Edward Borzelleca; and four sisters Rose Coscia, Philomenia Ramondi, Gloria Narducci, and Eugenia Borzelleca , His Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken. Fr. J. Thomas Heron will be officiating. There will be a visitation for Family and Friends on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00A.M. at the Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery of East Norriton.
