Obituary of Helen E. Heffentreyer

Helen E. Heffentreyer, 94, of Conshohocken, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home on September 4, 2015 . The beloved wife of the late H. Russell Heffentreyer, Sr. Helen was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Conshohocken, Pa., where she was a volunteer for many years in its Easter candy fundraising industry. She was also a member of the former Tuxis Bible Class. Born in Upper Providence, Pa., on November 14, 1920, Helen was the daughter of the late Richard D. Pearson, Jr,. and Lucy C. (Esrey) Pearson. Residing in Conshohocken all her life, Helen was a 1939 graduate of the former Conshohocken High School and attended many alumni dinner dances and 50-Year Club Luncheons. Helen was also a life member of the Radiant Chapter No. 96 Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Heffentreyer is survived by daughters, Elaine (David) Earl of Lansdale, Pa., Lucy Bickert of Conshohocken, Pa., Sally Heffentreyer of State College, Pa.; son, H. Russel Heffentreyer, Jr., of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.; grandsons, Robert (Sarah) Earl and Jeffrey (Beth) Earl; and great grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Cameron, and Lucy.In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard D. Pearson III and William C. Pearson. Family and friends are invited to her Service at 11:00 AM on September 10, 2015 at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. The Rev.Bryan Penman will be officiating. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
