John F. Murphy, 61, of Royersford, PA passed away suddenly on Friday September 4, 2015 at Pottstown Memorial Hospital A son of the late Francis X. & Betty Ann (Thorpe) Murphy, he was born in Norristown, PA on February 6, 1954. He was the loving husband of 30 years of Diane (Levy) Murphy John was a retired Printer with Montgomery County Pa. He was also a retired fire fighter with Royersford Fire Company, Conshohocken No. 2 Fire Company, Washington Fire Company of Conshohocken & Jefferson Fire Company of West Norriton, Pa. He was also a Fire Instructor with Montgomery County, Pa. Besides his wife, survivors include his Son: JJ Murphy Royersford, PA Daughter: Shana Murphy Royersford, PA Brother: Robert T. Murphy Hatfield, PA Granddaughter: Aubrey Murphy Niece: Amy Sprintz Collegeville, Pa Nephew: Robert G. Murphy Harleysville, PA A Funeral Service for John will be held on Friday September 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM & Friday morning from 9:30-11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
