Obituary of Urban C. Schmitt, Jr.

Urban C. "Jack" Schmitt, Jr., age 82 years, of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday October 11, 2018.

Urban was born in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday August 2, 1936, son of the late Urban C. Schmitt and Margaret ( Undeck ) Bradley.

He has lived in Philadelphia, PA all of his life.

Urban worked as a Plane Inspector with Northeast Philadelphia Airport. 

He is survived by his Fiance Marion A. (Byrne) Soppick of Philadelphia.

His mother Margaret (Undeck) Bradley of Ft. Washington , a sister Joan Schmitt of Ft. Washington, 3 brothers Bruce Schmitt of Trenton, Rick Schmitt of Trenton and Kenny Schmitt of Jenkintown.

Also survived by his fiance's children Michael Soppick of White Mills, Joel Soppick of Eagleville, and Nicole Soppick of Philadelphia as well as 9 Grandchildren & a Great Grandchild on the way.

His Service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohoken, PA 19428.

Viewing will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
