Obituary of William James Clinton Davenport

William James Clinton Davenport, Jr., age 67 years, of Conshohocken, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Suburban Woods Center, East Norriton, PA.

William was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Monday, October 8, 1951, son of the late William James Clinton Davenport, Sr. and Audrey Lee (Cheatham) Davenport.

He attended the Conshohocken Harvey S. Walker Elementary School and the Old Conshohocken High School which was at 7th and Fayette in 1966, before graduating from PW High School in Whitemarsh, PA.

After graduating, William worked at the now closed Allen Wood Steel Company as did his father, and has never left his beloved town of Conshohocken.

William worked as a Security Officer after leaving Allen Wood until retiring.

He is survived by older brother Warren (& Wenona) Davenport of Conshohocken.

And his estranged wife Claire Cherry Davenport.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Eden Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
