Obituary of Theresa Warliga

Theresa R. Warliga of Eagleville, PA, died peacefully on November 6, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born on May 23, 1926, daughter of the late Mary Ann (Zajac) Sztubinski and James Stubinski, formerly of Conshohocken, PA. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Michael C. Warliga. Theresa took pride in sharing stories of how, as newlyweds, she and her husband built their home together, saving their money bit by bit and doing most of the labor themselves. She was a homemaker for many years and also worked at the Potter's Wheel Gift Shop in Audubon, PA with her close friend. For the past 2 years, Theresa was a resident at the South Eastern Veterans Center in Spring City, where she was known by all for her pleasant demeanor and kind ways. She made friends wherever she went! Theresa was the loving mother of Lorraine McGinley (wife of Thomas), Theresa Brandenberger, (wife of Walter), Patti Bellak (wife of Michael) and Michael Warliga (husband of Barbara Gaydon). "Nan" Warliga will be remembered fondly by her 8 grandchildren: Emily Brandenberger, Todd Brandenberger (Megan), Jill (Brandenberger) Mohry (Jon), Max Brandenberger, Patrick McGinley (Jenn), Colin McGinley (Randi), Lauren (Warliga) Masino (Josh) and Kim Warliga. "Nan" also leaves behind wonderful memories for her 10 great-grandchildren: Chase & Olivia McGinley, Amelia & Alice McGinley, Tyler & Wesley Brandenberger, Jack & Charlie Mohry, and Veyda & Silas Masino. Theresa loved life and her family meant the world to her. She will be remembered as the best Mom in the world, the Nan who was always ready to listen to and tell stories about her grand and great-grandchildren, and the Lady who always had a smile and an encouraging word for anyone she met! She will be missed by the many people who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 10 A.M. at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 6th Avenue & Locust Street, Collegeville, PA. Visitation will be held from 9 – 9:45 A.M. Interment will be at the Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Theresa's memory may be sent to "SEVC Welfare & Activities Fund", South Eastern Veterans Center, One Veterans Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
