Obituary of Ruth E. Stong

Ruth E. (Rodebaugh) Stong, age 102 years, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on Thursday December 27, 2018

Ruth was born in Harmonville, Pa  on Saturday June 10, 1916, daughter of the late Leslie M. and the late Mary Abbie Rodebaugh.

Ruth has lived in Plymouth Meeting, Pa her entire life.

She was a member of Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Congregational Church, where taught Nursery School for many years.

Wife of the late Joseph H. Stong.

She is survived by her children Joseph Stong of Plymouth Meeting, Pa , Jay (& Barbara) Stong of Limerick and Ruth Ann Garner of Souderton, Pa.

Also Survived by 6 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren & 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Leslie Rodebaugh & Harold Rodebaugh and 3 sisters Marion Boyer, Violet Murray and Beryl Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday January 3, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.

Her service will be on Thursday January 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park of Plymouth Meeting, Pa

Memorial contritution may be made in her memory to Plymouth ECC Church, 42 E Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462
