Obituary of John P. Kelly

John P. "Jack" Kelly, age 89 years, of Bridgeport, passed away at his home on Saturday evening January 19, 2019 with his loving family by his side.

John was born in Norristown, Pa on Friday April 12, 1929, son of the late James J. and the late Catherine ( Millhouse ) Kelly.

Jack was a member of the former St. Augustine RC Church.  He was a graduate of St. Matthew's High School, Class of 1947.  He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War as a weather observer on Johnston Island..

John worked as a Letter Carrier with the US Postal Service in King of Prussia, Pa.  He retired in 1988.    And he was a member of the Conshohocken Knights of Columbus and the Fr. Tomko Assembly of Fourth Degree Knights.

He was beloved husband of the late Marie ( Wagner ) Kelly

And Survived by their children Maureen (& Late John) McQuaid of Bridgeport , John (& Late - Carol Termine) Kelly of Collegeville, Terrance (& Bobbie Jean (Knoebel)) Kelly of King of Prussia , Kathleen (& Robert) DeStefano of King Of Prussia , Eileen (& Late Tom) Daley of Bridgeport, and Coleen (& Michael) Popowicz of King of Prussia

Also survived by his Sister In Law Patricia Kelly of Trooper , and he was Pop Pop to15 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, he is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 Sisters In Law James (& Edna) Kelly, Charles (&Charlotte) Kelly, & Joseph Kelly and his brother In Law and sister in law, Albert and Helen Wagner.

Jack enjoyed vacationing every August with his family in Sea Ise City, NJ.  He enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies which he lovingly referred to (most times) as "Those Bums".  He also enjoyed spending time on Facebook, as well as playing games on his Ipad.  He was vert tech savvy!


His Service will be held on Saturday, Jan 26 from 10:30 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428

there will be a viewing will be held on Saturday Morning, Jan 26 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at funeral home.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken
