Dad I know you and I didnt always get along when I was younger and as I got older I wondered why. I'll never forget right after mom passed I asked you why was that and you said it was my mouth and I just didn't stop fighting. We laughed so hard about that. We realized I was alot like you. But you proved to me that you are the strongest man I ever knew. And you are the one that never stops fighting. I love you pop and I will miss you forever.

Rest in peace my good friend. Thank you for giving me a chance when I was a very young man, starting my own business in Southwest Philly. You mentored me and encouraged me to buy real estate, as a result I've been able to provide a nice life for my family. You became a good friend, you and Tillie always made us feel welcome at your home in Sea Isle. Every time I drive down Landis Ave. I will think of you both. Your son George is a mirror image of you and that's something to be proud of. He is honest, trustworthy and a great family man. He learned from the best. You took me to a circus one time when I was younger. I remember thinking, “Why the heck are we going to a circus? I didn’t even know circuses still existed!” It ended up being one of my favorite memories with you. I love you Grandpop, have a martini with Grandmom up in heaven for me.

So sorry for you loss. Like my dad he fought hard to stay here with us. But in the end, God removed him from his pain and gave him peace. Dina was giving George a Birthday party and I was helping her get ready. I was in the parking lot and he and Tillie were just arriving. I had not yet met George’s parents. He asked me if I knew Dina Gregori and I said yes, she’s my daughter. He said she looks like you. I was so happy that that Dina would have a wonderful family.

I will miss him. He always was there to check on my Mom when I was 2 hours away and gave me piece of mind. Also I will miss our family arguments . No matter what we discussed we always had a completely different opinion. We would end up laughing.
