Though I have never personally met James, from reading his life story, he seem to have been a man who was loved by many. To Marilyn, Brian, and Robert, my heart does indeed go out to you and also the rest of the family and friends who James was close to. Losing a loved one is never easy. I know because I have lost a few, which included a beloved father. Know that you have support along the way and always cherish the memories you have had together. One day I noticed that Jim’s ringtone on his phone was Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street”. It was an old 70s song and I told him the memories it brought back in my time when I was young. He listened, he understood, he related to - like he always did, to all of us at EVO. Jim was like family at EVO, we worked hard, we joked, we laughed. He had a laid bold laugh that we all loved to hear. He was the face, voice and embodiment of our EVO products and services. His leadership style was forward thinking and we all respected him. He was a NASA junkie, loved science and used to talk about his days as a chemical engineer. He cared for all of us, our careers, our dreams and our families. Jim was straightforward, honest and appreciative in the things we have accomplished at EVO. He will never be forgotten. The success of our EVO products speaks of his leadership, his passion, his commitment. Jim will remain in our hearts forever. We thank God to have known him. Now his time to rest has come. Jim is on board with a greater entity now. Rest in peace, Jim.
