I am sorry to find “Smittys” obituary. We served together in Japan and MCAS Beaufort where he and I shared a trailer with another fellow Marine. I have looked for him for a lot of years. If anyone in the family would like to contact me, my email is johnnynemo@icloud.com. He was quite the character back then and we obviously spent a lot of time together. My late condolences.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. But may the words of Jesus Christ be able to help ease the pain of losing him in death. How can he do that? Well, by having a little Faith and trust in the words he has spoken in John 5:28,29 which is a promise about a time in the future when he will resurrect the dead and bring them all back to life again and then all of them will be able to live forever on this earth, as the Bible promises us all in Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will posess the earth and they will live forever on it. So may these words bring a real sense of comfort to your hearts and allow your minds eye to see your selves welcoming him back into your arms again to hold and to cherish forever on this earth.
