Obituary of Peter J. Guidici

Peter J. Guidici of Jeffersonville, Pa died peacefully Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, Pa. He was 81. Peter was born in Conshohocken, on January 31, 1934 to the late Ensilius "Earl" and Matilda (Glantz ) Guidici. Peter was retired from his job as a machinist for Philadelphia Iron & Steel and had been living in Jeffersonville, Pa for the last 55 years after relocating from Conshohocken, where he was raised. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Norristown, Pa. Pete was a very hard worker, starting out working with his father at Conshohocken Grinding Company, Philadelphia Iron & Steel in Conshohocken, Cofco Furniture and had also worked with Korman Suites He was a proud participant with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Angelo) Guidici of Jeffersonville, sons; Pete Guidici, of Jeffersonville and John Guidici of Jeffersonville, and a daughter, Eileen Hammer and her husband Tom of Jeffersonville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; Pete III, Jim, Lisa , Jennifer, Jessica, Nicole, Thomas, Jr. "TJ" And Matthew; and 17 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Guidici, Jr. and a sister, Renee Zanbella. His funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis Of Assisi RC Church, West Marshall and Buttonwood streets, Norristown, Pa. Friends may call at the viewing, Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the family.
