Florence M. Zapien , 84, of West Conshohocken, Pa passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. She was born in West Conshohocken, Pa on February 17, 1931. Florence lived in Bridgeport and West Conshohocken, Pa She was a member of George Clay Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary- Lifetime Member, F Troop, West Conshohocken Rec Council, West Conshohocken Home Towners, and the Bridgeport Seniors.She was a member of St. Gertrude RC Church of West Conshohocken, Pa and St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa. She was the daughter of the Late Andrew & Sarah ( Smith ) McGonigle. Survivors include her husband, George J. Zapien, Sr. of West Conshohocken, son George (& Cecil) Zapien, Jr. of Pottsgrove, and daughters, Patricia Zapien of West Conshohocken, Mary Florence "Nucky" (& Dennis) DeStefano of West Conshohocken and Jacqui Carracappa of West Conshohocken; and grandchildren Megan (Zapien) (& Michael) Conner, Denise (DeStefano) (& Michael) Matthias,George (& Jackie) Zapien, III, Marc (& Karen) DeStefano, Brian (&Courtney) Zapien, Doug (& Jaci) DeStefano, Adriane (Zapien) (& Michael) Rodenbaugh, Richard DeStefano, Russell (& Melissa) DeStefano, Sarah McTamney, Elizabeth Waddell, Jeffrey Waddell, Philip (& Lisa) Boccella, Bob (& Bethany) Boccella, & Kevin (& Dana) Boccella. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Friends may call on Tuesday Evening December 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Interment will be private.
