Merrit A. Peters, 93, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on December 17, 2015. He was born in Clymer, PA on July 2, 1922. Merrit has been living in Blue Bell, Pa formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 1940 Graduate of Conshohocken High School, then he attended Villanova University, Penn State University and Drexel University. He was a retired Manager from the former Kaiser Refractories of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, after retiring he volunteered with VITA Volunteer Income Tax Association. Merrit was F. & A. M. with Lodge #190 Charity Lodge and also a member of High Tweleve Club. Former member of Plymouth Twp. & Colonial School Boards and Montgomery County Vo-Tech School Authority. Merrit was very active with Harmonville Fire Co and had served as their Treasurer, also a member of Plymouth Lions Club as well as he also volunteered with Plymouth Little League and Plymouth Biddy Basketball. Son of the Late - LLoyd & Rosa ( Mease ) Peters Survivors include his Wife: Dorothy E. (Hastings) Peters Blue Bell, PA Son: Merrit A. (& Stephanie) Peters, Jr. Philadelphia PA Son: Dennis D. (& Marilyn) Peters King Of Prussia PA Son: Dwight R. (& Kathy) Peters Paradise Valley AR Brother LLoyd (& Jean) Peters Jeffersonville PA Also Survived By 4 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Jean Tryson His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken Clergy: The Rev.
