Joan C. Laydon  

Joan C. (Scott) Laydon, 87, of Norristown, PA passed away Monday, September 23, 2019.

She was born in New Britain, CT on September 4, 1932, the daughter of the late Alexis P. and the late Hazel ( Riley ) Scott.

She was a homemaker and Musician.  Joan was a member of St. Teresa of Avila RC Church of Audubon, Pa 

 She was the wife of the late Bertrand  T. Laydon, Jr..

Survivors include Daughter Kathleen (& Frank ) O'Donnell of Lansdale, Daughter Janice (& Ken) Orner of Norristown, Daughter Sharon M. Laydon of West Chester, Son Christopher T. Laydon of Mont Clare, Daughter Martha (& Michal) Merritt of King of Prussia.

Also survived by 8 Grandchildren Lisa, Marjie, Paul, Meghan, Zachary, Jennifer, Alex & Catherine.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey T. Laydon.

Her Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM from St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Audubon, PA 19403.

Friends may call on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 8:30 to 9:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
