Obituary of Christine Marie Collins

Christine Marie Collins of Collegeville died January 1, 2016 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe. Chrissy was born in Norristown on June 8, 1960, a daughter of Thomas F. and Helen (Birmingham) Collins of Collegeville. She was 55. Chrissy had worked in the greenhouse at the former KenCrest Center in Upper Providence and most recently attended Bon Homie Center. She loved to go to church at St. Eleanor Catholic Church in Collegeville and was a member of the Spiffy Club there. She also enjoyed traveling and made trips to Ireland, Cape May and her favorite – Disney World. Chrissy also loved to sing her favorite song, "You Are My Sunshine." In addition to her parents, Chrissy is survived by her sister, Gale, and her brothers, Tom, Gerald, and Mike. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, January 8 at 11:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Chapel on the grounds of the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. Officiating will be Father Christopher Moriconi. A visitation will be held at the chapel from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
