In Memory of Mirella A. Young
1933-2019
Mirella A Young, 86, of Collegeville, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019. She was born in Milan, Italy on April 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Carlo and Adelaide Lani. She was the wife of the late Dr. John J. Young.
Survivors include her five children: John (Susan) of Brooklyn, NY, Christopher (Geraldine) of Durham, NC, Sheila Fabish (Douglas) of Collegeville, PA, Peter (Gloria) of Port Washington, NY, and Thomas (Pailin) of Hillsdale, NJ.
She was the loving grandmother of Cristina, Amanda, Alana, Anne Marie, John Edward, Caroline, Christopher, Daniel and Andrew and the great grandmother of four children.
A wake for family and friends will be held at Moore, Snear and Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA on Friday, November 15 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16 at 8 AM at St. Eleanor’s Catholic Church at 647 Locust Street, Collegville, PA.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery at 11:30 AM, at 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St Anthony’s Guild, 144 West 32nd Street, NY, NY 10001.
