Obituary of Roger C. Lock

Roger C. Lock, 70, loving husband of Elizabeth Lock, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 21, 2015. He was surrounded by his family at Elbert Einstein Montgomery Hospital. Roger was born in Norristown on March 16, 1945 to the late Robert and Grace ( Morgan ) Lock. He was also pre-deceased by an infant son Preston. He was a graduate of the former Collegeville-Trappe School class of 1963, where he played football and baseball. He was a member of the Patriotic Order Sons of America and the Collegeville Grange. He served in the United States Army in Korea 1967-1969. Upon his return he was a construction worker, American High Mast and retired from the Collegeville Post Office. He was a former member of Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Church serving as assistant youth director, trustee and usher. In later years he joined the Trinity Lighthouse Church. Survivors include his daughters Erin (Mike) McClain with whom he resided and Sarah (John) Pensyl of Gilbertsville. His brother Philip Lock of Schwenksville and sister his Eunice (Jim) LaFollette of Hartville, Misouri. He fought his illness with courage to be with his eight grandchildren who brought him joy. They are Adam, Ayva, Silas Pensyl and Nick, Rauri, Kieran and Nora McClain. He requests a Life Celebration at the Trinity Lighthouse Church, 66 South Limerick Road, Royersford, Pa 19468 on March 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Wayne Houck. Following the ceremony light refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lighthouse Church, 66 South Limerick Road, Royersford, Pa 19468 OR Twin Pines, 3000 Twin Pines Camp Road, Stroudsburg, Pa 18360.
