Obituary of Rita C. Gaspar
Rita C. Gaspar, age 87, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Manatawny Manor of Pottstown, PA.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 21, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Novak) Grzegorzewski.
Rita has been living in Collegeville for 19 years, formerly of the Frankford section of Philadelphia. She was a member of Saint Eleanor Catholic Church.
Rita enjoyed shopping, gardening, cooking, ceramics and reading a good book. She also enjoyed going on bus trips as well as time spent at the Jersey Shore. Most of all, Rita enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Gaspar.
Survivors include her son, Thomas (& Darlene) Gaspar; two daughters, Carol Gaspar (& Jeff Duffy) and Marie (& Edward) Boothman; as well as one grandson and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Due to present public health concerns, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately with interment to take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville.
A celebration of Rita's life for family and friends will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Manatawny Manor Benevolent Fund, 30 Old Schuylkill Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465.
