Obituary of John C. Reimer, Sr.

John C. Reimer, Sr., 86, of West Conshohocken, PA passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020.

He was born in West Conshohocken, PA on November 27, 1933, the son of the late Joseph and the late Mary Ann (Stanowska) Reimer.

He worked with Alan Wood Steel, then as a Security Supervisor for Montgomery County Court House.  John was a longtime member of West Conshohocken Borough Council and also was Supervisor with West Conshohocken Borough.

He served during the Korean War in the Army with the 2nd Army Division.

He was the husband of Hope Ann ( Borkowski ) Reimer for 60 years.

Survivors include Wife Hope Reimer of West Conshohocken, Son John C. (& Arlene ) Reimer, Jr. of Quakertown, Daughter Sandy Reimer Karns of East Norriton, Son Joseph S. Reimer of West Conshohocken, Daughter Susan Mary (& Frank) Reimer-Cotillo of Limerick, Son James E. Reimer of Lafayette Hill, Daughter Shirley (& Christopher) Reimer Toohey of Hershey, Son Michael J. Reimer of West Conshohocken, Son Paul E. Reimer of Pottstown, and Brother Henry Rymarowicz.  He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Reimer, Joseph Reimer, Edward Reimer, Leonard Rymarowicz, Conard Reimer, Stanley Reimer,  Hank Zaremski, and Raymond Zaremski;

as well as sisters, Martha Reimer Haines, Theresa Megilligan, Virginia Baxter,  Martha Haines, Sophie Zaremski and Helen Zaremski.  

His Funeral Mass at St. Matthew's RC Church and interment in Calvary Cemetery will be private.
