It was an honor to be Jack's physician. His generous heart and purposeful mission to improve the lives of those less fortunate will leave a long legacy. He supported efforts to prevent childhood diabetes and obesity and when our team spent a morning at St. Martin de Porres School educating the students, Jack was there. This is one of many examples of his actions-"pounding the pavement." I treasure my interactions with him discussing baseball, healthcare and the Pope's visit. Please accept my condolences: he was so proud of his family and spoke with great pride, but always humility about his children and grandchildren. I've never known a kinder, wiser, more gentle man. I feel so blessed that my life intersected his.

I'm meet you when I was at teenager. Thank you so much for excepted me as one of Mary's friends. Granted I was a bad influence on her, but know because of the values that you instilled I her, she never did anything ready wrong and at times some of her values even rubbed off on me. You both raised amazing children and I am so happy that I had the chance to know you. You will be missed by so many. REST IN PEACE Mr. D!
