Wayne B. Thim, 64, of West Norriton, PA, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020.

Wayne was born in Norristown, PA, on December 19, 1955, the son of the late Robert and the late Constance L. (Noblit) Thim and has lived in West Norriton since 1982. He was the owner and operator of Wayne Thim Plumbing & Heating for 40 years.

As a life member of the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company (KPVFC), Wayne tirelessly trained in order to serve the citizens and visitors of Upper Merion Township and its surrounding communities. Over his more than 25 years of service with KPVFC, he served as a firefighter, apparatus driver/engineer, a Certified Rescue Responder, an Emergency Medical Responder, Fire Police Captain and a dedicated Emergency Response Professional. Wayne was also a life member of the West Norriton Ambulance as well as a member of the Jeffersonville Fire Company No. 1.

Wayne's hobbies included riding his Harley as well as boating. Wayne was member of the Blue Comets, and an honorary member of the Blue Knights PA 22, as well as being a member of the Red Knights.  He was also a member of the Valley Forge Optimist Club.
 

Survivors include his sister Sharon Woodside (Wayne) of Boyertown and his sister Brenda Pentecost of Porter, TX, as well as one niece, two nephews, numerous cousins, and his forever love Bonnie Gregory.

 

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Prior to the memorial service, relatives and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

His interment will follow at Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
