Obituary of Richard L. Dylinski

Richard L. Dylinski  

 

Richard L. Dylinski, 87, of Limerick, PA passed away Friday, July 3, 2020.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 15, 1932, the son of the late Leon Dylinski and the late Tillie ( Olszyna ) Meltzer.

Dick has been living at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City, Pa for the past 2 years, prior to that in Limerick since 2004, and formerly of Conshohocken, PA.

He was a graduate of Mastbaum High School of Philadelphia, PA and he served in the US Army during the Korean War where he received the National Defense Service Medal.

He is a member of St. Teresa of Calcuta RC Church, where he was also a member of the Holy Name Society.  He was a former member of St. Mary's RC Church of Conshohocken where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Golden Agers.

He worked as a Cabinet Maker for over 30 years with the United Brotherhoods of Carpenters of America.  After retiring he went to work with Colonial School District.

He was the husband of Theresa Lewandowski, they celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday July 2, 2020.

Survivors include Wife Theresa Dylinski of Limerick, Daughter Sharon (& John) Drummy of Collegeville, Son Michael (& Eileen) Dylinski of Limerick, Son Mark (& Christine) Dylinski of Collegeville, his grandchildren Danielle, Richard, Alyssa, Theodore, Nicole, Matthew, Dominic & Eric.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Richard S. Dylinski.

His Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta RC Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA.

Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at  the church. 

Interment will follow in St. Benedict Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
